Actively involved in the funeral industry since 1964, Scott also enjoys giving his time to local municipal committees and volunteering at his church. He and his wife Susan reside in Marshall Township. Scott, a father of three, has a son and daughter working with him in the business. Beth and John are both fourth generation funeral directors.

Beth is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH. She has been a licensed funeral director since 1995. She enjoys spending time with her two children and currently resides in Franklin Park.

Amy is a 1992 graduate of Allegheny College. She completed her funeral director training at The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1993 and has been practicing since 1997. Amy lives in Franklin Town with her husband Mark and two children, Corinne and Will.

John is a graduate from North Allegheny High School, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. A licensed Funeral Director, in College John studied Environmental Science and Computer Graphic Design. He married his lovely wife Ellen in 2004 and they live in Marshall Twp. They have been blessed with three children, Jack, Christian & Andrew. John enjoys gardening and attending his boys sporting events.

Darel Greenfield Certified Celebrant & Chaplain / Funeral Assistant

Darel has been our certified celebrant since October of 2022 and has proven to be an invaluable resource for families in need.  His caring and passion for helping people made him a perfect fit here at Simons.  Darel grew up in the Salvation Army along with many of his close and extended family members. He graduated from the Salvation Army School for Officers Training in 1986 and served as an officer / clergy for several years. After the Salvation Army he worked for George Junior Republic and the American Red Cross.  Darel has three sons and two grandchildren, he loves sports, outdoor activities and music.
